Dear Friends of ABF,

As we close out the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what your support has made possible. For 58 years, the Arizona Burn Foundation has stood as a bridge between hospital and home, walking alongside burn survivors and their families through every stage of healing. What begins in moments of crisis grows into lifelong care—reaching homes, schools, and communities across Arizona.

This year, your generosity helped us expand that reach even further. From installing smoke alarms in rural communities to helping children return to school after injury, your commitment makes healing possible. These milestones—and the stories behind them—are why this work matters.

One of the highlights of the season was our Festival of Trees gala, where together we raised an incredible $644,000 for burn survivors and their families. It was an evening of celebration and impact, reminding us how powerful we are when we come together. Whether you joined us in person or supported ABF in other ways, you are part of this mission.

On a personal note, this year’s Festival of Trees was especially meaningful for me. After seven incredible years, it was my last as CEO before stepping into retirement. Leading ABF and walking alongside survivors, families, volunteers, and supporters has been the honor of my career. I’m proud to introduce Bridget Doherty, our Chief Development Officer and now Interim CEO, who will guide ABF into an exciting new chapter.

Together, we’re building a safer, more compassionate Arizona. Thank you for being part of this journey.

With gratitude,

Rex Albright

ABF CEO
