Arizona Burn Foundation has installed more free smoke alarms in Arizona than any other organization. Unlike other smoke alarm programs, the Community Smoke Alarm Program serves families directly, coming to their home and walking them through the process so they learn how to keep their household safe.
Since 2006, our Community Smoke Alarm Program has installed thousands of 10-year sealed-battery dual-sensor smoke alarms — the best protection available on the market — in low-income and high-risk areas across Arizona. Our installations are often complemented with smoke alarm education in the schools. In addition, we are one of only two organizations in the state installing hearing-impaired smoke alarms where needed. Our efforts prevent home fire deaths and burn injuries for Arizona children and adults every year.
Arizona Burn Foundation coordinates several installation events each year, where volunteers and firefighters install smoke alarms in high-risk households throughout communities in Arizona.
The Community Smoke Alarm Installation Program is sponsored in part by MDK Attorneys.
