Every individual deserves the right to a safe and secure home. Unfortunately, recent events have highlighted the critical need for specialized smoke alarms for the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Join our upcoming Community Smoke Alarm Walks and be part of a movement that brings safety to vulnerable households. Receive training, work alongside firefighters, and directly impact lives.
• Smoke alarms and alert device systems are available for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• A strobe light pairs with the smoke alarm and flashes when the alarm sounds, alerting the resident of a possible fire.
• When the resident is asleep, a bed shaker can aid in waking them alongside the flasher. The shaker is also paired with, and triggered by, the sound of the smoke alarm.
