Prevent. Survive. Thrive.

The Arizona Burn Foundation is pleased to offer ongoing peer support groups both in person and online facilitated by our Client Care Services team. Peer-led support groups offer survivors and caregivers the opportunity to connect and provide assistance to one another during recovery following a burn injury. Support groups provide a safe space to process feelings, ask questions, get advice, and find support from others who have experienced a burn injury. Support groups are open to all those who have been affected by a burn injury.

For burn survivors: Arizona Burn Foundation’s Peer Support Groups are for burn survivors 18 years and older, seeking and offering assistance following their burn injury. This is a peer-led group facilitated by our Client Care Services team. The virtual group meets every other Wednesday through Zoom while the in-person group meets on the second Monday of every month at the Arizona Burn Center at Valleywise Health.

For the family: The Caregiver Support Group is open to caregivers and loved ones of burn survivors, age 18 years or older. This virtual group is a peer-led group, facilitated by our Client Care Services team on the third Thursday of every month through Zoom.
