Camp Nurture – Nurturing Young Burn Survivors and Their Families

In January, the Arizona Burn Foundation held their first camp of the year, Camp Nurture, for burn survivors aged 0-6. This long weekend welcomed two families who had never been to an ABF camp before, and they were both from Southern Arizona! These families were able to connect with each other and participate in panel discussions with other burn survivor parents, rehearse their responses when asked about injuries, relax with some yoga, and enjoy the wonderful Arizona weather. Each family said they truly appreciated the opportunity to connect and support others who were going through a similar season.
