CEO Corner December 2023

Happy Holidays!!

I hope everyone is enjoying the season of family, friends, gratitude, and overeating. (Maybe that last one is just me?) .

This time of year, we feel that chill in the air, the sun setting at 5pm and waking up and mostly still dark skies. We also use this time of year to reflect on how blessed our lives have been with having our family and friends in our lives.

You are all part of our family and I wanted to say thank you so much for all your continued support in 2023 that has allowed ABF to do so much more for our burn survivors, their families and to assist in spreading the message of burn prevention and fire safety.

As we look forward to 2024 and the opportunities that await each of us. We ask you to consider your philanthropic goals for next year to include ABF if possible. Our survivors’ needs are of paramount importance to ABF, and we know it means a lot to you as well. We want to be able to support their needs as much as we can.

One of the quickest ways you can look to support ABF this time of year especially is to consider us for your year end gifts which in Arizona we are lucky to have the Tax Credit Program. For a single individual if you make a $400.00 gift you can deduct that 100% off your state taxes, and for married couples that can be $800.00.

What better way to close our 2023 than the heartwarming gift of hope for a burn survivor and their family, and a direct benefit to your bottom line at tax time.

Stay safe everyone and I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you soon.
