Spring 2024 Smoke Alarm season has wrapped up, and what a great season it was!
Since January, ABF has installed 1262 smoke alarms, 82 Deaf & Hard of Hearing smoke alarm systems, and educated 1234 residents in 418 homes, all with the help of 378 volunteers.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to EVERYONE who contributed to installing these alarms and educating residents about fire safety in the home, as well as how to create an evacuation plan. Such an impact would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers and our partnerships with local fire departments.
We appreciate each and every one of you! If you are interested in participating in a smoke alarm walk in the fall, please keep an eye on our SignUp Genius here.
