Prevent
Education is key to burn prevention. We teach families life-saving safety tips and advocate for changes in building codes and policies that promote fire safety.
ABF is providing vital services to the families affected by the New Year’s Eve explosion that occurred in Hawaii. Multiple survivors have been transferred to Phoenix to be treated at the Arizona Burn Center, and their families are doing their best to be alongside them while they are treated and progress toward recovery. Our team understands that these injuries affect the whole family, so our mission is to keep families together and minimize stress so they can focus on healing. Your donations help to offset the costs of lodging, transportation, and meal vouchers, which our Client Care team works to cover while initial emergent crisis care expenses for these families accrue.
As a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on your donations to help us achieve our mission: To improve the quality of life for burn survivors and their families in Arizona, while promoting burn prevention advocacy and education.
Survivors rely on medical professionals, emotional support staff, families, and friends. That’s why Arizona Burn Foundation offers compassionate services that bring all parties together through a comprehensive continuum of care.
Arizona Burn Foundation has been serving the Grand Canyon State and its residents since 1967, providing education, emotional support, financial assistance, and leadership development programs to help those who’ve encountered the devastating effects of burn injuries.
From the time of a survivor’s injury through the rest of their life, Arizona Burn Foundation supports burn survivors and their families. We bring them through recovery until they no longer identify as a victim, but instead as a human being of intrinsic value and worth.
