Burn Prevention Week is Here
This week is Burn Awareness Week. This is an opportunity for you to share burn prevention advocacy and education with your community.
As part of Burn Awareness Week, our goal is to raise enough funds to provide 600 low-income families in high risk neighborhoods with working smoke alarms. When you give the gift of a working smoke alarm, you give the gift of time! When you hear a smoke alarm, you may have less than 2 minutes to get everyone outside and safe. In addition, any gifts made towards Burn Awareness Week will be matched dollar-for-dollar to help educate parents that children are the most vulnerable for burn and scald injuries.
Three out of five home fire deaths result from fires in properties without working smoke alarms. You can help change that!
Please, send your most generous gift today to help those families in need of working smoke alarms.
