Banner University Medical Center Spotlight

It is a great honor for the Banner University Medical Center – Tucson (BUMCT) burn team to begin this new partnership with the Arizona Burn Foundation. Only through this partnership can we make it possible to offer burn survivors the best possible care while receiving treatment in the hospital, throughout the outpatient rehabilitation phase, reintegration into work and school as well as emotional and community support for a lifetime.

Over the past two years the Arizona Burn Foundation has coordinated 2 community smoke alarm walks, sponsored the burn survivor picnic and dinner, supported 26 children and adolescence from the Tucson area to attend burn camp, has reached out to many of our burn survivors and family’s to offer them emotional and financial support as well as provided funding for 4 burn nurses to attend the 2022 American Burn Association conference.

I just want to thank the Arizona Burn Foundation for all you do! The lives you touch in our community is a precious gift and we are very grateful to be a part of something so important and meaningful.
