Fall 2024 Smoke Alarm Walk Schedule

We are excited to announce our upcoming Smoke Alarm Walks, offering a fantastic opportunity to engage with and support our community. This fall, we will be hosting eight walks across various locations in the valley, and we invite you to join us as a volunteer.

Schedule:

  • September 28th – Buckeye
  • October 5th – Prescott Valley
  • October 12th – Sedona
  • October 19th – Tucson
  • October 26th – Tempe
  • November 2nd – El Mirage
  • November 16th – Lake Havasu City
  • November 23rd – Peoria

Volunteers will receive comprehensive training and will be paired with other volunteers to assist in the installation of smoke alarms in high-risk neighborhoods. Your participation will contribute to our mission of enhancing fire safety and preventing fire-related injuries and fatalities. In our spring Smoke Alarm Walks, 378 volunteers made a significant impact, installing 1,262 smoke alarms, reaching 418 homes and providing fire safety education to 1,234 residents. These efforts play a crucial role in creating safer living environments and ensuring that every household is equipped with functioning smoke alarms.

If you are interested in being a part of this meaningful endeavor, please visit here for more information and to sign up. Together, we can make a difference and build a safer community for everyone. Thank you for your commitment to this important cause. We look forward to working with you!
