Your gift provides burn survivors a community! Our virtual support groups grew out of the pandemic, but have become a vital resource to burn survivors in remote areas. Because of you, burn survivors are able to connect with others, tell their story, and participate in therapeutic healing opportunities.
Victoria found the Arizona Burn Foundation virtual peer support group through the Phoenix Society. Our virtual support group allowed her to attend regularly, build her confidence, and share her story. In 2021, she started Life After Burns, an organization for those impacted by the trauma from burns in the Greater Toronto area. She inspires others and fills a gap in her home community.
Your gift makes a difference to burn survivors, like Victoria, because it builds connections, gives them the tools to make a difference in the lives of others, and creates a life-changing community!
Thank you for helping make a difference and for supporting ABF!
