The Arizona Burn Foundation is proud to recognize State Farm for its continued investment in fire prevention and community safety throughout Arizona.
Through its charitable giving initiatives, State Farm supports programs that help people stay safe at home, at school, and in their communities. Since 2021, State Farm has partnered with ABF to expand access to fire prevention education and resources through our Community Smoke Alarm Walk program and Milo & Moxie Fire Safety Education program for children.
Together, these programs help families reduce fire risks before an emergency occurs. While smoke alarm walks provide direct, hands-on support in neighborhoods across Arizona, Milo & Moxie introduces children to age-appropriate fire safety lessons they can share with their families.
“At State Farm, part of our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life. We are committed to building safer, stronger communities,” says Elyssa Tapetillo, Corporate Responsibility Analyst. “We’re proud to support Arizona Burn Foundation and their prevention work—meeting families where they are by showing up, installing free smoke alarms, and walking them through what to do next. Together, we’re creating safer communities across Arizona.”
State Farm’s most recent grant of $45,000 will support three community smoke alarm walks this fall while also helping provide fire safety education materials to as many as 3,000 elementary school students and their families at no cost to participating schools.
Beyond financial support, State Farm is an active partner in this work, volunteering alongside ABF staff and community members at smoke alarm walks throughout the season.
We are grateful for State Farm’s partnership and dedication to prevention. By combining education, community engagement, and practical safety resources, we’re helping more Arizona families reduce fire risks and prevent burn injuries before they happen, a critical component of ABF’s work in the community.
