I would like to personally invite you to join us for an upcoming Community Smoke Alarm Walk! Community Smoke Alarm Walks are a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in the community, volunteer alongside friends and family, and have a lot of fun throughout it all!

No experience is necessary to be a smoke alarm walk volunteer and children are welcome to join, with parent supervision. To participate, you simply meet at the designated start location the morning of the event, complete a brief training session about the importance of smoke alarms, and are divided up into small teams. Each team heads to their assigned homes to install smoke alarms at no cost to the residents and educate families about fire and burn prevention. The neighborhoods are carefully selected by our fire department partners as being low-income or high-risk homes, particularly in need of this service.

There are eight walks scheduled throughout Arizona this Fall, so you can choose the date and location that works best for you. Each event typically begins around 8:00am and ends by 12:00pm.
