Growing H.O.P.E The Close of 2021

ABF’s ambitious 3-year plan to expand our programs and services throughout the state is closing in on the end of the first year.  During this year we have been able to secure over 49% of our 3-year goal of $1.78M dollars and have been able to establish an office in Tucson, hire a Client Care Services Manager to serve our clients in Southern Arizona as well as partnered with a Smoke Alarm Walk in Tucson, with plans to deliver more in the spring of 2022.

This campaign effort will host a planning meeting in early February 2022 with key volunteers from our targeted growth areas of Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma, Prescott and Flagstaff to lay out the specific programs and gatherings we hope to offer in these key areas over the next 12-months.  These activities may include, retreats, social gatherings, support groups and other therapy options for our survivors and families closer to home.

We know that building a sense of community around our survivors and their families is a strong component to their ability to move from survive to thrive, and having a local community of support will allow more opportunities to interact with each other and offer a safe space to share their stories and find their path forward.

If you would like to know more about how ABF is able to deliver our mission please visit www.azburn.org. If you wish to learn more about how you can engage in our campaign for this expansion, either as a contributor, a volunteer or if you are a family that would like to learn more about what is available in your area please do not hesitate to reach out to me at Rex.Albright@azburn.org or call (602) 230-2041.
